Love, Grace, Child… Baptism Necklace

Posted in Christian Life, and Homemaking

When Munchkin decided to get baptized, I knew that I wanted to give her something special for that important moment in her life.  Since Daddy had already given her a nice study Bible a couple of years ago, that was not an option.  She had looked at some cross necklaces that she really liked, but they were gone by the time that I was able to go try to purchase one.  I then decided that I would make her a necklace, so it would be even more special to her.  This is what I came up with for her minus a crown that I wasn’t able to locate at the craft store.

Baptism Necklace
Through the Love of Christ and by His Grace, Munchkin became a Child of the King.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. ~ Ephesians 2:8-9

That is so much better than some old cross you could have picked up in the store! Beautiful!! 🙂

    And congrats, too.

Her face was shining when we gave it to her, and yes, it is better than something we could have purchased. I really believe it was a God thing that those other necklaces were no longer available.
